CLASS 926, 927, 928 – iPHONE, iPAD, and ADVANCED iPHONE & iPAD
Want to more effectively use and enjoy your iPhone or iPad? These are three separate class offerings from TOM ODOM, an Outer Banks resident with over 30 years of experience with IBM and a Master’s degree in Technology. The introductory courses, 926 iPHONE and 927 iPAD, will look at system features (such as password, control panel, cell/wi-fi, etc.) and applications (contacts, safari, music, etc.). The 928 ADVANCED iPHONE & iPAD will help you get the most out of your device. It builds on information presented in the iPHONE and iPAD basic courses and is designed to help slightly more advanced users to more fully enjoy the capabilities of their devices. Classes will focus on students’ needs and requirements as well as resolving issues, so bring all your questions, along with your iPhones and iPads, to class with you! Each class is limited to 12. Class 926 – Thursday, Feb 1; Class 927 – Friday, Feb 2; Class 928 – Thursday, Feb 8.
CLASS 929 – TAKING CHARGE OF YOUR COMPUTER

Nowadays, most everyone has a computer. But when operating systems change, to Windows 10 for example, many 20th century people are not getting the most from their 21st century computer system. DAVID and BRIAN MAIN are both IT professionals with over 40 years combined experience. David is Director of Information Technology at St. Patrick Catholic School and Brian is the Research Data Analyst and System Administrator in the Leroy Canoles Cancer Research Center at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Students will learn how to make the most of their computers and software. Topics will include internet use, virus protection, malware, ransomware, hardware and software operation and maintenance, including Windows 10. Students are encouraged to bring any question to class!
