CLASS FILLED - CLASS 1140 – BEGINNER KNITTING
After 30 years of teaching, PEGGY CLIFFORD has joyfully retired to the Outer Banks. She has taught many students to knit, whose pieces have been joined in a blanket and donated to Project Linus. She also sellscustom knitted children’s clothes on her Etsy site. This is a beginner knitting class that will teach the basic knitting skills and allow enough practice to produce a wearable product. The first class will include casting on and knitting. During the week between classes participants will knit the required length. The second class will include making buttonholes and casting off. The finished product will be a wool blend cowl scarf. This is a $33 two-night course with an additional fee of $12 to cover materials. Mondays, Feb 17 & 24.
CLASS 1141 – PARCHMENT AND FLOWER NOTE CARDS
Botanical artist BARBARA HANFT and heirloom quilter CIL DEMING have a serious crafting bug and love to share it. One of the most popular things they teach is how to make faux parchment note cards, using items from the pantry. In this class, you’ll design and assemble an original card for family or friends, or you may end up wanting to keep it for yourself! No need to be “artistic” – come surprise yourself with what you can create. Class size islimited to 10 students. Monday, Feb 24.
CLASS 1142 – WINE GLASS PAINTING
There’s something special about a hand painted wine glass! GLEN BALDWIN has been a crafty gal for years and took up painting wine glasses, just for fun, a few years ago. She’ll guide you through the basics of doing it yourself, starting with a simple nature design. Once class is over, you’ll have your own unique creation and the know how to paint more, either matching your rst or using your own ideas. Please wear appropriate clothes for painting and bring an apron; otherwise, Glen will supply everything needed. Class size is limited to 12 with an additional fee of

CLASS 1143 – CLOTHESPIN WREATHS
CAROL POWELL and PAULA MYATT are two veteran crafters, or two inveterate crafty women- whichever you would prefer! In this popular class they will teach you to create your own individual wreath using painted or washing tape decorated clothespins. There are many themes: Valentine’s Day, Beach, etc…the possibilities are limited only by your imagination. Class size is limited to 12 with an additional fee of $10 for supplies. Tuesday, Feb 11.
